Throughout our college’s history, and particularly in recent years, FIT has worked to address uncommon and complex challenges faced by our students and their families. The FIT Student Emergency Fund’s sole purpose is to provide a safety net for any student who is struggling for reasons beyond their control.

Born from compassion, the fund deploys resources in a timely and strategic fashion to ensure that students remain on the path to success in the classroom and in life. Against the backdrop of a global pandemic and the unprecedented hardships created by COVID-19, we took every measure to ensure that students not only felt safe but also supported. More recently, the world has experienced new and equally complicated challenges.
