You are invited to an evening with renowned author and fragrance historian Michael Edwards as he discusses his latest book, American Legends: The Evolution of American Fragrances. He will be joined by Linda G. Levy, President of The Fragrance Foundation, and a surprise guest. Together they will dissect the success of fragrance in America, discussing our cultural development through a sensory lens. We will hear about the perfumers who created the fragrances, the designers who crafted the bottles, and the visionaries who inspired the scents. We will be joined by special guest, Chris Collins.
In the words of Michael Edwards, “To the French, perfume is liquid art; to the Italians, liquid style. To the Americans, it is liquid money. The result is a unique American style at once brash, strong, loud, and crass, yet at its best, innovative, spirited, elegant, and rich.”
Please note that this event is 18+.
