Join us to celebrate the release of The Love Producer: My Unscripted Journey from a Reality TV Career to My Own Happily Ever After, a new memoir by Julie LaPlaca, Advertising and Marketing Communications '07, former producer of the hit ABC series, The Bachelor, and certified life coach and hypnotherapist.

 

LaPlaca will sit down with host of Off The Vine podcast and former Bachelorette host Kaitlyn Bristowe to discuss walking away from a career producing reality TV's most iconic romances to do the deeper work of healing and self-discovery—learning to produce the love story of her own life.

 

Following the conversation, guests are invited to a "rose ceremony" cocktail reception celebrating love, learning, and reinvention. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Julie LaPlaca, Advertising and Marketing Communications '07, spent twenty years behind the camera producing some of television's most iconic love stories, including seven seasons as a Supervising Producer on The Bachelor franchise. It was there, guiding leads through vulnerable conversations and emotional breakthroughs, that she realized she had been neglecting her own heart.

Her debut memoir releases July 7, 2026 with a foreword by Chris Harrison. A proud FIT alumna, Julie is living proof that the most important story you will ever produce is your own.

 

 

Kaitlyn Bristowe is a multifaceted media personality and entrepreneur who first captured the public's attention as a standout contestant on The Bachelor before taking the spotlight as host of The Bachelorette. 

Bristowe hosts the popular podcast Off the Vine. Beyond her media endeavors, she has ventured into the world of business with her own line of wine and a thriving social media presence, establishing herself as a prominent and influential figure in the entertainment industry.
