Hosted at Baxter Mill Archive, one of the largest privately held textile collections in the country, guests are invited to experience a rare glimpse into the artistry and craftsmanship that shaped the textile industry.

Get inspired by exploring pieces of the textile history that continue to influence design trends today and discover local talent with ArtPop, featuring artist and upcycled fashion designer Will White.

ABOUT OUR PARTNERS

Springs Creative serves as a modern center for fabric design, product development, and creative collaboration. Dating back to 1887, Springs Creative’s roots in textiles run deep and are now led by the 5th and 6th generations of the Springs-Close family. Springs Creative operates across multiple markets—including apparel, home décor, and crafts—providing original textile designs and materials to partners around the world. Combining traditional craftsmanship with innovation labs, print studios, and educational partnerships, Springs Creative bridges the past and future of textile design.

Baxter Mill Archive is a curated visual treasury of over 1.5 million antique documents, hand-painted artwork, textile books, and garments spanning over 3 centuries from nearly every corner of the world. Today, the archive serves as a research hub and a creative resource, connecting the past to the present for designers, artists, historians, and educators. Its mission is to preserve and share the legacy of textile design while inspiring innovation in contemporary textiles, art and fashion.

ArtPop transforms every day places and creates immersive experiences amplifying the Charlotte region’s creative spirit. Will White is an artist that was part of ArtPop's 2023 cohort, where his work was featured in an annual billboard exhibition. White is also a three-time designer for ArtPop's Upcycled Fashion Show, this year serving as a host for the annual fundraiser.
