Join Dean Shannon Maher and alum Jenny Jing Zhu for a discussion and screening of Dream Weaver—a short film inspired by Zhu's journey from a rural village in China to building a life and career beyond her wildest dreams. Afterwards, gather with fellow dreamers, weavers, and believers for a reception and book signing of the memoir the film was adapted from.

Jenny Jing Zhu (Textile/Surface Design '05)  is the founder of the Dream Weavers Foundation and author of Dream Weaver, her memoir about resilience, grit, and chasing her dreams, which was adapted into a film that premiered at the 2024 Venice Film Festival. 

After graduating from FIT, she built Lush Décor, a trend-setting home textiles business, scaling it to a $100M+ revenue company. 

Now, as chairwoman of Lush Décor and Founder of the Dream Weavers Foundation, Zhu is dedicated to empowering women as entrepreneurs and leaders to embrace uncertainty and resilience to build their dreams.
