FIT is excited to offer you or your company a special opportunity to honor a loved one, give a meaningful gift, create a lasting tribute, or commemorate your own FIT experience. 

About The Walk at FIT

The Walk at FIT serves as the exterior entryway to the brand new Joyce F. Brown Academic Building—our first new building in over 40 years! Its beautiful glass façade faces West 28th Street, where passersby can see the creativity of FIT’s students, our unconventional minds, at work each day.

The entry walkway consists of paving stones inscribed with the names of alumni, faculty, friends, and donors as tributes to their contributions to our institution and as reminders of their lifelong connection to FIT. The names on these pavers are a permanent part of the New York City landscape and a path for future students to follow in the footsteps of those that came before.

 

Guidelines for Inscriptions

All inscription messages must be written without indentations and in the English language.
