Join fellow FIT alumni for an inspiring Gallery Walk visiting three distinctive contemporary art spaces in the Lower East Side that are founded or led by fellow FIT alums. Enjoy a beautiful spring evening of art, community, and learning about art and the spaces it occupies. We will visit three locations, and adjourn the evening over toasts of sparkling wine, lite bites, and meaningful conversation.

Founded in 2018 by Haylee Barsky, Art History and Museum Professions BS '16

Visionary Projects is a global art platform and gallery with an active community, serving as a space for discovery, inspiration, and connection. Their mission is to make the contemporary art world more accessible and approachable while working with some of today’s top emerging artists.

 

Hashimoto Contemporary

The gallery’s roster consists of an eclectic blend of emerging and established contemporary artists working primarily within the respective local communities of New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Hashimoto Contemporary provides a dual platform to both marginalized and mainstream voices.

Lyle Gallery is a multidisciplinary exhibition space and platform at the intersection of design, art, and fashion. As a queer-owned business, Lyle Gallery is dedicated to creating a vibrant space that elevates representation and fosters innovation across creative disciplines.
